To prevent spambots from creating profiles on this site, Bookzek has an automatic password generator.
When you register for a profile, you will receive an email that tells you your temporary password.
You will need to sign in using this password and change your password by clicking the My Account menu option near the top center of the page.
Under your user page, you will find several tabs. Click on the Edit tab which will default to the sub-tab of Account.
Here you can change your password, add an icon picture (commonly known as an "avatar"), set a signature, edit your notification settings, set your time zone, and other options.
Keep in mind that, when you first register, you will be a "limited user." Until you earn fifty points, your abilities on the site will be limited. This is to help facilitate new users getting familiar with the site, and becoming community members in good standing. For more information, see the following FAQ pages:
